Hot tub cover lifters are a great way of taking the strain out of getting the cover off your tub.
We all know the cover is an essential part of your tub as it helps keep the heat in when you aren't using it and helps reduce your running costs. But they can be awkward to remove on your own. That's where your cover lifter comes into its own. It makes removing and replacing the cover on your hot tub spa a doddle as it supports the cover meaning you don't have to lift its entire weight.
We offer the two most popular options when it comes to buying a hot tub cover lifter as shown below:
1. Manual cover lifter - These are as they sound, a manual aid to help you remove and replace your tub cover. They lock onto the fold in the centre of your hot tub and simply provide a lever to lift the cover off the tub when required. The manual cover lifter removes the cover and places it on the ground behind your tub rather than above your tub (as with the gas lifter in the image above).
2. Gas Cover lifter - This type of cover lifter is a little more expensive, but is also makes the lifting process easier than a manual cover lifter. It uses gas rams on either side of the lifter to lift the cover off the tub with minimal effort from you. This type leaves the cover above your hot tub when open (as in the picture above) meaning your tub can be located closer to the rear wall.
